MoveFit™ Mobility Training is a form of personal training directed at enhancing both your passive joint range of motion or flexibility and your active joint range of motion or mobility. Your experience will be custom to you based on the information gathered about your body and it’s current presentation in the MoveFit™ Discovery and Assessment Session. Together we will identify your specific goals while anchoring to the deep underlying motivation driving you toward them.  MoveFit™ Mobility Training is designed to meet you where you are and provide you with guidance, support, and accountability to take you where you want to go.

Who is MoveFit™ Mobility Training for?

You are a good candidate for MoveFit™ Mobility if you meet the following two criteria.

  1. MoveFit™ Mobility Training is for individuals who are free from major musculoskeletal injury, chronic joint pain or limitation, or any other issue that prevents them from moving with a high degree of freedom. If you identify as someone who has a limiting condition, you’re likely best suited for Movement Therapy. You can learn more about Movement Therapy by clicking HERE.

  2. MoveFit™ Mobility Training is for individuals who are disciplined, motivated, and willing to be deeply engaged in the training process. Improvements in mobility take time, consistency and intensity.

MoveFit™ Mobility Training Process

Step 1:  MoveFit™ Mobility Training Consultation

Are we a good fit?  Let’s start with a consultation to make sure my movement philosophy and approach is aligned with your mobility training needs and preferences.  The consultation is a complimentary 30 minute session performed in person or virtually. This is an opportunity for each of us to ask questions and get to know the other so we can determine if our partnership will meet both our needs.

  • Please click HERE to set up a consultation. If the consultation is unnecessary and you are ready to move forward, proceed to Step 2A.

Step 2A: MoveFit™ Mobility Training Discovery & Assessment Session

For the MoveFit™ Mobility Training Discovery & Assessment Session, you will have completed MoveFit™ Mobility Training Intake Form and 5 Whys Exercise as sent to you shortly after scheduling your session. The intake form captures your health history, injury history, current orthopedic conditions, lifestyle variables - physical activity, nutrition, sleep, etc., as well as the objective training goals you intend to achieve.  The 5 Whys Exercise helps to identify the deep motivation behind your engagement - the desired experiences that will come as a result of achieving the objective training goals. You are driven in two ways: by the experiences you want to create - your vision and by the experiences you want to avoid and believe will happen if you don’t take action. We will capture both to help keep you engaged and accountable.

We will start this session by discussing the contents of your intake form and the 5 Why’s Exercise. This will allow us to review the history of your movement health™, the central motivation behind your engagement in this process and the specific goals you want to achieve.

From there, we will proceed to the movement assessment. The assessment allows us to capture your current movement and mobility baseline.  All of this information is critical to designing individualized programming to guide you successfully toward reaching your goals.

Step 2B: Discuss the Assessment Results & Set Your First Mobility Training Session

Following the assessment, we discuss the findings and schedule your first mobility training session.
